Bob was born on August 31, 1957, in Salem the son of Donald and Alice (Pollock) Reeder. He is survived by his longtime companion Grace Kershner, his children Charles M Reeder and Peggy McCann both of Montoursville, grandchildren Sean and Ian McCann and a brother Jeffrey Reeder of South Williamsport. Marvin was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Marvin was a bartender for thirty years at several local clubs.He was a member of the American Legion Post #1, Elks Lodge, Loyal Order Moose Lodge,Voiture #382, 40 et 8, Young Mens Democratic Club, and Highland Lake Manor. Marvin was born in Williamsport on December 28, 1928. Reeder, 85, of Williamsport died Wednesday Septemat Sycamore Manor Health Center, Montoursville. and Nancy Reeder Wingard and husband Barry grandchildren, Robert Reeder. State, Orem, Utah and 11:45am-12:45pm prior to the service. He is survived by son Dennis Michael Reeder and wife Deann daughters. Bob is survived by his wife, Vonza, 7 children, Daniel Lee (Tracy),Dorinda Reeder Lemke, Jeanne Reeder, Barbara (Shelley Mark ) Wright, Weltha (Couter) Bulechowsky, Robert (Juanita), Angel Yvonne (Olafur Valur) Olafsson, 38 grandchildren, sister Freda (Burke) Thomas, along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and others who loved him very much. Marvin was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. This was very confusing, and I speculated many different scenarios, all I might add ended up being wrong. Bob and Vonza served an LDS mission to Tonga together. The funny thing, however, it showed two of his sons named John. He was a very hard worker and could fix almost anything. Bob served in various LDS church Sunday school presidencies, and the High Priest Quorum. He taught at South Valley School for several years. Bob & Vonza moved down to Orem in 1968 where Bob continued his schooling- got his GED and graduated from BYU with a Bachelors of Science degree, specializing in Industrial Arts Education, along with a teaching certificate. He helped many of his children and grandchildren build things- including their homes. Bob developed his talent of wood working- and was a wonderful carpenter. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston LDS Temple. They were married April 2nd, 1945 in Cardston. He loved to dance and at one of the dances he met his future bride, Vonza Mae Davies. Bob was a great horseman and taught his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to love horses. When he was 16, his mother died and he quit school and worked on the ranch. He rode a horse to school- and really enjoyed it-especially riding the horse with his brother and sister to and from school every day, and teasing the other children and the teacher. They lived on a ranch just outside of Cardston. Bob was born Novemto Robert William and Agatha Eva Sturm Reeder in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Robert Lee Reeder, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, teacher and friend passed from his life on earth to the loving arms of his parents on June 3, 2015.
